Leigh Academies Trust schools becoming 'nimbl'
learn at school, at home and on the go
Longfield Academy and York Road Junior Academy, members of the Leigh Academies Trust, Kent are introducing mobile learning into their classrooms with Pearson Publishing's new mobile learning system, nimbl.
Using smart devices and mobile technology is an exciting way of encouraging students to learn at school, at home and on the go, by making use of the technology many students already have in their pockets.
Pearson Publishing, the well-established educational publisher, has recently launched its innovative mobile learning system, nimbl, for schools and colleges, together with a range of their own mobile publications available for primary, secondary and post-16 students.
Commenting, Tim Cross Strategic Leader- Learning Technology, Leigh Academies Trust, said:
“I have strategic responsibility for the effective use of technology in learning and teaching across our eight schools which use a variety of smart devices. I am encouraging my colleagues to use the nimbl system and Pearson Publishing content right through from KS2 to the Sixth Form because they offer such an attractive integrated, cross-platform solution.”
