Leicestershire author launches five books to inspire youngsters to read
Each book is filled with lots of action and humour that will engage the reader
London – Thursday 16th October 2014 B R Tracey, an as yet unknown author living in the Leicestershire countryside, has launched the first five novels in the children's canine adventure series, "Ruff Life".
The series introduces us to two of the most illmatched dogs – Max, a top MI6 agent, and Bella, a spoilt Diva doglet. The two get embroiled in all manner of dangerous and exciting adventures. Each book is filled with lots of action and humour that will engage the reader.
The character designs that so accurately reflect the storylines in the books were created by Hollywood Studio concept design artist Scott Lozano, and additional international input for the book covers and website have been provided by Tamara Donahoe, USA editor, and graphic designer, Heather Palermo graphic design artist & Agus Prajogo cover illustrator.
The actionpacked titles, which have taken over two years to write, are aimed at encouraging youngsters between the ages of 9 and 11 to become more literate.
Reviews of the first book, It's A Ruff Life, describe the work as thrilling, James Bond for kids with a unique twist, full of pizzazz, engaging, funny and reads like a movie.
The first five titles in the current ninebook series It's A Ruff Life, Diamond in The Ruff, Ruff in Hollywood, It's a Ruff Life: Dognapped! and Ruff Resort are available for purchase at Amazon. Two of the books, It's A Ruff Life and Diamond in The Ruff, are also part of the Goodreads Giveaway.
There is to be another book release in November in time for Christmas, and three additional book releases are planned for 2015.
