KNOW AML ‘YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED’ CAMPAIGN FOR BLOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and Know AML is encouraging the AML community and the general public to participate in the official Know AML awareness and educational activity: ‘Your Questions Answered’. Know AML is proud to lead this campaign, which will provide the opportunity for questions to be answered by a patient in remission, a carer, and a world-leading doctor in AML:
- Anna Mamwell was diagnosed with AML in 2015 and is in remission. She will answer questions on the signs and symptoms of AML and her experience of living with AML.
- Dorcas Hills cared for her husband who was diagnosed with AML in 2014. She will be answering questions on caring for someone who has AML.
- Dr Gail Roboz is a world-leading doctor in AML. Dr Roboz will answer questions about clinical trials in AML.
Know AML would like to encourage everyone to get involved. To learn more or to submit a question, please visit https://know-aml.com/en/get-involved/bcam
Throughout Blood Cancer Awareness Month, Know AML will publish a series of videos, via its social media channels, of the patient in remission, carer, and world-leading doctor in AML answering questions. Please share the videos from Know AML across social media channels using the official hashtags: #KnowAML #BloodCancerAwarenessMonth. Videos will also be made available through the get involved section of our website.
