Norfolk is set to receive a major jobs and investment boost thanks to David Wilson Homes Eastern Counties.

The housebuilder is working on three developments in the county which will bring millions of pounds worth of investment to the region and underpin over 1,000 jobs.

A total of 575 homes will be built across Bure Meadows in Aylsham, Butterfly Mill in Horsford and Mulberry Park in Poringland. As well as providing new homes for local people David Wilson Homes will also invest over £4 million in the community in areas such as education and transport. Projects include the Horsford Junior School improvement scheme near Butterfly Mill which will receive £35,000 while over £200,000 will be given to improve local transport.

300 homes will be built at Bure Meadows where a commemorative garden will be created. The design incorporates a WW2 pillbox which was originally built to guard against invaders and was uncovered when David Wilson Homes began work on the site. There will also be further green open space on the development for residents to enjoy. The 125 homes at Butterfly Mill will be centred around a village green and the development will also have a play area and green open space.

A range of two to four bedroom homes are currently available to buy off-plan at Bure Meadows and prices start from £140,796 while a number of four bedroom homes are available to buy at Butterfly Mill. Prices there start from £310,995 and three show homes are open to view.
