Jannat Shah Rajan joins eXate as Chief Operating Officer
Peter Lancos, Co-founder and CEO of eXate, announced today that Jannat Shah Rajan has joined eXate as the Chief Operating Officer of the company, based in London. Lancos commented that “Jannat will be responsible for daily operations of the business, growth strategy and implementation of new initiatives. She is a critical senior management hire as we embark on the next phase of the journey.”
Shah Rajan stated that “I’m excited to be joining at such an interesting time for eXate. The importance of what the product delivers for its customers in the data privacy space becomes more apparent in the wake of increased regulatory scrutiny and with every new publicly known data breach.”
Jannat began her career with Deutsche Bank in corporate finance and most recently was a founding member of a new venture capital fund financially backed by AXA, the insurance company. Her investment interests included early stage B2B and enterprise software, FinTech and digital health technologies.
“Having seen many products in my time as a technology investor that addressed data, privacy and security, I am convinced that eXate’s approach and technology offers something unique to the market and moreover, something that the customer wants but perhaps does not know is yet an option to them.”
Jannat holds a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College London and an MSc in Managerial and Financial Economics from HEC Paris.
