Jackery Announces Partnership with PlugVan – Transforming Traditional Panel Vans into Campervans in Just Five Minutes

London, UK, 17 August 2023 -- Jackery, a global leader in innovative portable power and green energy solutions has announced its partnership with Berlin-based company PlugVan, who supply sustainable units to the UK and across Europe, transforming traditional panel vans into fully-fledged camper vans in just five minutes, with the Jackery PowerStation aboard to supply reliable green energy.

The PlugVan module instantly transforms most panel vans into a campervan, a mobile workshop, a goods transporter, or a mobile office and back again. The conversion takes only five minutes and can be done by one person by simply sliding the unit into the loading area and lashing it down, without any changes to the base vehicle. A Jackery unit is integrated into the PlugVan module, providing sufficient energy for built-in electronics such as lamps and water pumps as well as external components including laptops and coolers.

PlugVan offers the following models: Explorer 500 and Explorer 1000 with capacities of 518 Wh and 1002 Wh respectively, which are characterised by low weight and a service life of up to 20 years. Since they are whisper-quiet during operation, they can also be used in the converted campervan throughout the night.

The combination of a converted van and the Jackery units not only meet all requirements for comfort and flexibility, but it also offers a high level of sustainability. While the versatility of the delivery van means that it can be used for several purposes and prevents numerous vehicles from having to be purchased, Jackery’s power stations can be charged by harnessing the power of the sun with solar panels.
