ICON TRAINING Delivering Innovative New Aquatic Courses

In January 2015 award winning training provider, ICON TRAINING, were granted full status to be an ASA Approved Centre, enabling the company to deliver and assess all ASA qualifications such as teaching aquatics, coaching swimming, open water and aquatic fitness. Feedback from the ASA stated that ICON TRAINING is an excellent centre, having a highly organised and professional approach to aquatic delivery.

Working in partnership with Circadian Trust in Bristol, delivery of level 1 and level 2 courses will start in April 2015 as well as bespoke CPD workshops in March and April, tailored specifically to their aquatic workforce needs. There are further courses being planned for Devon, Wiltshire, Wales and the North West in the coming months, in addition to some exiting new plans for aquatic Traineeships and Apprenticeships, coaching swimming and open water coaching.

The innovative training company has also recently partnered with Diamond Swim Academy owned by ex-international swimmers, Sarah Ruckwood (nee Price), Adam Ruckwood, Sophie Grosvenor (nee Caul) and Mark Grosvenor. Courses are starting with Diamond Academy in August 2015 in Birmingham. Sarah Ruckwood, a double commonwealth gold medallist and world record holder said:
