Hope Spring announces Free Mother’s Day eCards

Water poverty alleviation charity, Hope Spring, today announced that all visitors to its ecard platform, will be able to send Mother’s Day eCard free of charge. Mother’s day, also known as mothering Sunday, this year in the UK is on Sunday, the 19th of March. Millions of people up and down the country send cards, ecards and flowers to their mother and mother figure in their life.

Announcing the free mother’s day ecard offer, Hope Spring trustee and founder Temi Odurinde said “mother’s day tends to be the busiest day on our eCard platform apart from Christmas. We are quite conscious that the cost of living crisis may force some people to skip sending Mother's day eCard this year. We do not want that, that is why we are making it free to send Mother's day eCard this weekend.”

Visitors to Hope Spring eCards, who wishes to take advantage of the free mother’s day eCard offer need to visit the free charity ecard section of the ecard website, to obtain the passcode that will allow them to send mother’s day and other eCards free of charge through the month of March.

Mr Odurinde added that “though we are making sending mother’s day eCard free, we are still open for donations to those who are willing and able to make a donation when they send mother’s day ecard”. The charity hopes to receive enough donations to build a borehole for a water poor community they are working with at present in Nigeria.

Hope Spring has constructed four boreholes this year, most of the money for funding the boreholes came from donations from their ecard platform. You can visit their website this mothering Sunday to send a mother’s day ecard, free of charge or you could make a donation.
