HOBURNE HOLIDAYS JOIN ROOM TO REWARD

Hoburne Holidays has become the very first holiday park operator to join the unique charity Room to Reward and donate some well-earned breaks to outstanding volunteers from charities and communities across the U.K.

The partnership represents a significant step in the charity’s development, with each of Hoburne’s eight holiday parks donating two off-season breaks per year to Hidden Heroes from the voluntary sector, nominated by their organisations for their dedication and impact.

Until now, Room to Reward has utilised donated unsold hotel rooms to facilitate the breaks. This new partnership with Hoburne opens up a wider range of options for nominated volunteers, especially those looking for family breaks.

Hoburne has eight holiday parks in stunning coastal and countryside locations across the south, south west and Cotswold, with each park having its own unique offering.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Hoburne to the Room to Reward journey,” said Adam Terpening, charity director of Room to Reward. “To have Hoburne’s support is hugely significant, not only in giving the Hidden Heroes even more of a fantastic range of choices for their break, but also in showing that the Room to Reward concept can be expanded beyond hotels. Room to Reward works on a simple premise. Hotels and accommodation providers donate unsold rooms, charities and community groups nominate their inspirational volunteers for a break, Room to Reward make it happen.

Founded in 2015, Room to Reward now partners with over 750 accommodation providers. Nearly 2000 volunteers nominated by more than 750 organisations have been given some recognition and the chance to take some time back for themselves.
