Hala and Noor Fares host a fund-raising dinner in aid of Fcancer

December 2014, welcomes the 5th Anniversary of N.oor Jewellery with Hala and Noor Fares hosting an intimate dinner on the 9th December at the exclusive Harry's Bar in celebration of Noor's jewellery brand and in aid of Fcancer.

Noor Fares is a co-founder and a trustee of the Fcancer charity that matches volunteers with cancer charities in need of their skills. The evening saw the merge of Noor and Hala Fares' two great passions jewellery design and charity.

Some of London's elite and longstanding supporters of Fcancer and N.oor Jewellery, such as Petra Palumbo, Tatiana Santo Domingo, Sabine Ghanem and the Lebanese Ambassador of the UK, attended the event.

The evening began with a cocktail jewellery presentation where guests could view and order the works of the brand from the last five years. This was followed by an exquisite dinner with the sounds of the sitar and tabla playing in the background.

All proceeds from this event went to Fcancer and together with the individual donations the charity raised an amazing £100,000. This will allow the charity to expand and recruit even more volunteers to help over 50 cancer charities registered on the platform.

Sal Lahoud, the Fcancer co-founder and trustee said: "At Fcancer we wish Noor Fares a happy 5th anniversary and are thankful for all the support Noor has given the charity both as a trustee and ambassador. This night will allow us to keep improving the Fcancer online platform, to continue recruiting quality volunteers, and to match more charities with the skills they need"
