Haag-Streit UK offer a FREE ‘How-to’ calibration guide for the Goldmann tonometer
"Patient safety is critical and regular calibration checks means errors can be quickly identified and any faulty tonometry equipment can be returned."
Harlow, UK – 8th July 2020 - Haag-Streit UK, the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is pleased to offer a FREE ‘How to’ calibration guide
for the Goldmann tonometer.
This new guide outlines the recommended procedures for checking the calibration of the Haag-Streit AT 900M/Q, AT 900 C/M and AT 900 BQ tonometers. It gives advice on what to do if a tonometer is out of calibration during checks, or if a tonometer is faulty.
According to Haag-Streit guidelines, the checks outlined in the booklet should be completed at least once every month to ensure the tonometer performs in accordance with standards and specifications and consistently provides accurate measurements.
Patient safety is critical and regular calibration checks means errors can be quickly identified and any faulty tonometry equipment can be returned to the HS-UK Service Division to be serviced and/or repaired.
The HS-UK Service Division is the only Haag-Streit authorised tonometer service agent in the UK. Using genuine parts and jigs, calibrated to Haag-Streit standards, a certified Haag-Streit Service Engineer will service and/or repair any faulty tonometers quickly and efficiently, causing minimal disruption to clinics.
