Haag-Streit UK appoints a new Product Manager

Harlow, UK – 10th August 2022 - Haag-Streit UK (HS-UK), the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard diagnostic and surgical devices and instruments for ophthalmologists, optometrists, and orthoptists, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gemma Edwards in the role of Product Manager.

Gemma will be responsible for providing educational and clinical support for the Haag-Streit range of gold-standard slit lamps, biometry devices and the Haag-Streit Simulation range of diagnostic simulators. Working closely with the marketing and sales teams, she will be providing product support at events and trade shows and delivering on-site training for users of Haag-Streit UK equipment.

Before joining Haag-Streit UK, Gemma worked as a Specialist Ophthalmic Photographer at the Royal Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary for more than 13 years, where she gained a wealth of valuable experience both in the ophthalmic industry and with Haag-Streit UK devices.

Speaking about her appointment, Gemma said, “I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work for Haag-Streit UK. Having worked for the NHS for a number of years, I’m excited to be stepping into the next chapter of my career with a company renowned for its high-quality imaging devices and I look forward to working with such a friendly and approachable team.”
