Haag-Streit UK appoints a new Field Service Engineer to strengthen the team

Harlow, UK – 16th October 2020 - Haag-Streit UK (HS-UK), the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard optometry and ophthalmic equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Haslum in the role of Field Service Engineer.

Tim will be responsible for the Midlands and North-West region of the UK. Based remotely, his main responsibilities will include the routine servicing and installation of all the equipment in the HS-UK gold-standard product portfolio. He will also carry out onsite equipment repairs, ensuring that all products conform to company quality standards.

Tim has held engineering roles for more than 19 years. His previous role, for Veritek Global, involved the service and repair of a wide variety of equipment, including ophthalmic devices. Tim’s previous position allowed him to gain vast experience in the maintenance, repair and installation of ophthalmic products, as well as providing technical support.

Speaking about his appointment, Tim said, “I am really excited to start my new role within the Haag-Streit Service Division. I’m looking forward to being part of the team of Service Engineers and meeting and supporting HS-UK’s valued customers.”
