The course is aimed at those working with ophthalmic ultrasound in their daily practice. It will provide attendees with in-depth knowledge of this highly-skilled ophthalmic imaging technique.
The agenda will cover Ultrasound Biomicroscopy (UBM), how to perform accurate axial length measurement using immersion ultrasound, opaque media and vitreoretinal disorders, intraocular tumours and the examination of the orbit & optic nerve.
The expert Faculty includes; Tarek El-khasab, Consultant Ophthalmologist & Lead for Ophthalmic Ultrasound Services at Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Hatem Atta, Consultant Ultrasound Lead at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and David Sculfor, Consulant Optometrist at Buckinghamshire NHS Foundation Trust.
The one-day program consists of short lectures by the expert speakers, followed by demonstrations and hands-on practical workshops with real patients, giving delegates the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with HS-UK’s state-of-the-art equipment.
