News provided by Scientific Education Support on Wednesday 30th Oct 2019

The GvHD Hub continues to disseminate clinical updates in graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), including diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment options.

Guided by an international Steering Committee of world experts in GvHD, the GvHD Hub is a global online resource that provides vital information for treatment teams, including hematologists and oncologists. With an ever-expanding social media presence, the GvHD Hub engages with the global community on all major social media networks, providing a finger on the pulse of everyday, real-world clinical practice.

The GvHD Hub is designed to deliver upon an unmet need for targeted medical updates, to help treatment teams involved in GvHD care make informed therapeutic decisions. The GvHD Hub is run in collaboration with the European Leukemia Net (ELN). Last quarter, the GvHD Hub introduced new monthly educational themes showcasing content relating to hot topics in GvHD. Themes so far include; conditioning regimens for stem cell transplant, microbiome and the impact of stem cell source. These themes were infused with the latest clinical and translational insights gathered during the 17th International Myeloma Workshop (IMW), in Boston, US, and the first NCRI AML academy meeting in Birmingham, UK.

The GvHD Hub is facilitated by Scientific Education Support (SES) who love nothing more than building communities and networks to enhance the level of collective knowledge, using multichannel communications to disseminate medical advances.

The GvHD Hub would like to thank our Silver supporter Incyte, Bronze supporter Novartis and Contributor Bristol-Myers Squibb, for their continued support of the initiative.
