GvHD Hub | Quarter Four 2019 Update

News provided by Scientific Education Support on Friday 17th Jan 2020

The GvHD Hub is a global online resource guided by an international Steering Committee of world experts in graft-versus-host disease (GvHD).

The GvHD Hub disseminates clinical updates in GvHD and provides vital information for treatment teams, including hematologists and oncologists. With an ever-expanding social media presence, the GvHD Hub engages with the global community on all major social media networks, providing a finger on the pulse of everyday, real-world clinical practice.

The GvHD Hub is designed to deliver upon an unmet need for targeted medical updates, to help treatment teams involved in GvHD-care make informed therapeutic decisions. The GvHD Hub is run in collaboration with the European Leukemia Net . Last quarter, the GvHD Hub included educational themes, such as prophylaxis of GvHD and prognostic factors, and covered the Controversies in Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapies (COSTEM) meeting, Berlin, DE, and the 61st American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting & Exposition, Orlando, FL.

In November, during the Steering Committee meeting, the GvHD Hub discussed the content of the Hub and announced a future website re-design.

The GvHD Hub is facilitated by Scientific Education Support (SES) who love nothing more than building communities and networks to enhance the level of collective knowledge, using multichannel communications to disseminate medical advances.

The GvHD Hub would like to thank our Silver supporter Incyte, Bronze supporter Novartis and Contributor Bristol-Myers Squibb, for their continued support of the initiative.
