Weston Turville Golf Club was buzzing with energy as the Chilterns Neuro Centre hosted its Charity Golf Day under blue skies and glorious sunshine. With the pristine fairways looking their best, golfers gathered for a day filled with camaraderie, competition and community spirit, helping to raise almost £6,000 to support people living with neurological conditions.

The day began in true golfer’s style with a hearty clubhouse breakfast, before teams headed out for 18 holes of friendly rivalry. Spirits were high and the course provided the perfect stage for some memorable play.

“It was fantastic to see so many supporters, both familiar and new, come together not just for the golf, but to make a real difference,” said Stella Kubale, Head of Fundraising at the Chilterns Neuro Centre. “The money raised will help us continue providing life-changing therapies and services for people affected by MS, Parkinson’s and strokes. We are so grateful to everyone who took part.”

The competition saw some standout performances. Shane Locks took the top prize as Individual Winner, while the team trophy went to the Turville Terriers – Pat D’Cruz, Martin Caro, Steve Kent, and Allan Cooper – who edged their victory by a single point after a thrilling contest.

After the last putt dropped, celebrations carried on with a well-earned buffet. Golfers swapped stories of great shots, close calls and plenty of laughs, rounding off the day in true club spirit.

The Centre also paid tribute to event sponsor Better Mobility, whose ongoing support helped make the day such a resounding success.

"We are incredibly proud to sponsor the Chilterns Neuro Centre’s Charity Golf Day. It’s inspiring to see so many people come together for such a worthwhile cause and we know that the funds raised will make a meaningful difference to the lives of those who need it most. Supporting events like this is about more than just a great day of golf, it’s about giving back to the community and creating a lasting impact."

The Chilterns Neuro Centre provides treatments and services to people with MS, Parkinson’s and stroke survivors, empowering them to live life to the full. To find out more about the work of the Centre, visit chilternsneurocentre.org
