Foxtons Announces New Charity Partnership With London's Air Ambulance

Foxtons, London's leading Estate Agent, has announced its new three-year charity partnership with London's Air Ambulance. The charity has become Foxtons first long-term official partner and was unanimously chosen by employees following the charity's current 'Your London, Your Helicopter' campaign to acquire and sustain a much-needed second helicopter.

London's Air Ambulance provides an advanced trauma team to critically injured patients and serves the 10 million people living and working within London and the M25 using a helicopter during daylight hours, replaced by rapid response cars at night. The charity is the only one of its kind in London to perform immediate life-saving medical procedures normally only found in a hospital emergency department, at the scene of an accident. Since launching 26 years ago, the service has treated over 33,500 patients.

The acquisition of the second helicopter announced earlier this month marks a significant milestone for the charity helping to extend its daylight flying hours, although it continues to rely heavily on charitable donations to maintain its life-saving service for London. Foxtons sponsorship will contribute towards this.

o London Ambulance Service similarly provide paid paramedics who are seconded to the service. An advanced trauma paramedic operates from the Service's control room and is responsible for dispatching London's Air Ambulance to the most critically injured people in London, 24 hours a day.
