British health food supplier The Finchley Clinic announced today that they are now stocking Hepasan, a new supplement designed to cleanse the kidneys, liver and gall bladder. The product is already a best-seller in the UK, and the clinic hopes that Hepasan will follow their success several years ago in bringing sister product Colosan to the UK for the first time.
The Finchley Clinic introduced Colosan, a product intended as a health tonic and now used as a colon cleanse, to UK consumers in 1998. Both Colosan and Hepasan are oxygen-based, as opposed to more common fibre and psyllium-based cleansing supplements. The oxygen-based formula is claimed to increase antioxidant activity within the body.
Owner Mark Lester said: “We believe Hepasan will complement the effects of Colosan by helping to flush more toxins from the body and promote internal health. We’re looking forward to seeing our customer base embrace Hepasan just as they have with its sister product.”
Hepasan is made with American folk medicine in mind and contains molasses extract, red clover, potassium citrate, alphalipoic acid and acetyl cysteine. It is intended to flush toxins from the liver and allow it to burn fat, which clogs the liver and prevents it from functioning. By thinning blood, bile and other fluids filtered by the liver and related organs, Hepasan is claimed to increase circulation and gently flush toxic bile and other build-up from the body.
The formula, intended to be taken with apple juice three times a day, also helps to relax the kidneys to further improve the cleansing process and eliminate more toxins. This process is intended to reduce formation of kidney stones, produce less acidic urine and prevent the inflammation that often arises during chronic urinary tract infections.
As well as eliminating water-soluble toxins, Hepasan is designed to break down carcinogens, known as xenoestrogens, which are fat-soluble and often are not eliminated through the body’s normal process. Once broken down by Hepasan, xenoestrogens are claimed to become water-soluble and the renal system is able to eliminate them.
Hepasan is currently only available through one other UK supplier, making this a huge step forward for supplement buyers in the United Kingdom. Customers should contact The Finchley Clinic for further information.
