Exciting Craft Workshop Activity Idea for Shoe Loving Hens!

We teach shoe customisation in the comfort of your own home, hen house, workplace or a hotel venue we can find for you. The Crystal Shoe Workshops are run from hotel venues Nationwide in city centre locations so you can enjoy the bustling city vibe around you. During a workshop you can discover all the secrets to customing a pair of shoes using crystals, including how to mirror the design for the left and right foot, crystal application methods and how to judge equal spacing. We use a range of colourful and clear gems including rhinestones, pearls, spikes, Swarovski crystals and Preciosa crystals. We usually have between 5-8 cusomised pairs of shoes on display during the course of the workshop in a beautiful rainbow of colours! We explain the design process and encourage ideas from the group to help make anyone's dream crystal shoes become a reality. There are four packages to suit all budgets. The Whole Package and The Ultimate Package include hotel venue hire and catering and an increased workshop time and amount of crystals and gems free to use. You can bring an unlimited amount of shoes and fashion accessories which is ideal if you also want a matching bag for your shoes! The workshop is developed by shoe designer Nicky Rox who has won several university awards for her footwear and handbag designs, portfolios and hand-made leather prototypes. Her keen eye for detailing, colour and design balance is demonstrated in her teaching methods and throughout the workshop. Workshop attendees enjoy the whole experience whether they are experienced in craft already or a complete beginner. Arriving with plain shoes and making a crystal pair which look designer and are bespoke to you is a unique way of learning something new. Our craft workshops run for between 2-5 hours depending on which package you choose.
