Ex Holby City Hearthrob Mark Moraghan and Cbeebies Swashbuckle Presenter Gemma Hunt to Star in Peter Pan

A familiar face on TV, MARK MORAGHAN will head the cast as the evil Captain Hook at the Assembly Hall Theatre this year when he takes on the role of the villainous Captain Hook in the venue's pantomime Peter Pan.

Known to millions for his portrayal of Owen Davis in the BBC One medical dramatelevision series Holby City and more recently as the narrator of much-loved children's TV show Thomas The Tank Engine, he has also appeared in such series as Brookside, Heartbeat, Peak Practice and Celebrity Master Chef.

"I love performing in pantomime. It's a fabulous British tradition and a great excuse to get the whole family together and enjoy a wonderful and entertaining time at the theatre. I can't wait to spend Christmas with the people of Tunbridge Wells but watch out – Captain Hook is coming to get you".

Joining Mark in Neverland will be GEMMA HUNT (Popular CBeebiesshow,Swashbucklepresenter) as Tinker Bell. No stranger to TV, she co-presented Best of Friends, Barney's Barrier Reef, Bamzooki, Barney's Latin America and All Over the Place. She has also regularly hosted CBBC's live coverage at Wimbledon, and last but no means least, appeared in Chucklevision and the Cbeebies pantomime.

Peter Pan is played by JESSICA PUNCH and Smee is played by MARK JAMES. The Pirate crew are played by comedy acrobat troupe The Nitwits whose death defying antics will have audiences both gasping with amazement and crying with laughter at the same time.

Martin Dodd, Producer of UK Productions says: "We are delighted to be back at the Assembly Hall Theatre with our biggest pantomime to date. Peter Pan is a story that everybody loves and we will turn it into an all flying, all singing, all dancing, amazing spectacle that will have you hooked from the very beginning".
