Eversheds appoints Steven Geerlings as Head of Asset Based Lending

Eversheds in the Netherlands has taken a major step in the further expansion of its (international) financial practice with Steven's appointment as Head of ABL. Steven returns to Eversheds after a three year break since 2012 when he served as Head of ABL in London. He will now be based in Amsterdam and regularly travelling to the UK and other EU member states.

Steven concentrates on structuring cross-border asset based lending transactions and work-out strategies. His client base includes all major players in the European ABL market ranging from Dutch and UK clearing banks, various clearing banks in other EU member states and subsidiaries of US banks, to other regulated and unregulated financial institutions. Steven is a regular speaker at industry conferences. He also provides training at industry associations and in-house for his clients. Steven is recognized as being one of the leading advisers in the European market. He is noted in Chambers 2014.
