EVA Air Honoured at Skytrax World Airline Awards

Taiwanese carrier ranks number one for cabin cleanliness and

among the top 10 world's best airlines for 2015!

Taiwan's leading independent airline, EVA Air has ranked number one for having the "World's Cleanest Aircraft Cabins" and voted 9th among the "The World's Top 10 Airlines - 2015" – and recognised in further categories at the Skytrax World Airline Awards, the largest passenger satisfaction survey covering full service and low cost airlines across the globe.

The World Airline Awards, also known as the Passengers Choice Awards, are highly-coveted accolades for the world aviation industry and set the global benchmark of airline excellence. Targeting more than 245 leading airlines, the awards were presented to winners at the Paris Air Show on 16th June 2015, following a global customer satisfaction survey conducted by Skytrax, in which more than 18 million passengers from over 105 different countries participated by telephone, questionnaire and online, to measure standards across 41 key performance indicators that judge everything from the quality of food and the comfort of seats to the friendliness of cabin crew.

When completing the survey for the "World's Cleanest Aircraft Cabins" award, passengers were asked to evaluate the cleanliness of many aspects inside EVA Air's aircraft cabins. The voting process, in which EVA Air achieved the top worldwide ranking, was drawn from inspections of the aircraft's bathrooms, seating areas, drop down tables, every panel throughout the cabin as well as all carpeted areas.

Placing within the top 10 "World's Best Airlines - 2015", EVA Air was judged on its comprehensive airline products and services. The outcome of this global award marks the achievement and commitment of all EVA Air staff to deliver the highest standards of customer service at every stage of travel, with an exceptional flight experience guaranteed on all aircraft across its portfolio.
