Disability charity Accuro (Care Services) has launched a new Facebook page – Accuro Essex.

Accuro has recently launched a new Facebook page to make themselves more accessible and easier to find by those in need of their services within the West Essex area. This new name is also in line with their social media channels Instagram and Twitter, which share the same handle.

This comes just ahead of a ‘new look’ website homepage that is currently underway for Accuro and is being designed by local creative digital agency, Tela, based in Saffron Walden.

Communications Officer at Accuro, Katie, said, “We are asking people in the local area and beyond to show their support for Accuro by liking and following our new Facebook page as this is a key platform for us to raise awareness of our services, and to share fundraising events and challenges. We are excited to reveal our new website homepage in the coming weeks and want to say a huge thank you to the team at Tela for their hard work and kindness in providing their services and expertise free of charge, helping us to be visible and relevant online.”

Shara Vickers, owner of Tela, said, “Tela has enjoyed working with Accuro for nearly 5 years. When we first met with the Accuro team, we recognised the importance of having a website to help the charity promote themselves online and agreed to build their website for free. Over the years, the Tela Team have built free websites for many charities and not for profit organisations. We donated the Accuro website and digital training to help the charity attract new services users, volunteers, and funding. The site also allows users to view events, news and useful info for young people and their carers’. This tool helps Accuro make an even bigger impact and really help make a difference to young people with disabilities. We are looking forward to many, many more years working with the Accuro team.”
