Cuckfield Christmas Tree Festival
News provided by Action for Deafness on Wednesday 20th Nov 2013
Cuckfield Christmas Tree Festival will take place from Friday 6th December to Sunday the 8th December. This, the eleventh Festival at Holy Trinity Church, will have 74 magnificently decorated Christmas Trees each one sponsored by a local school, club, society or business. This year the Festival is being held in partnership with Action for Deafness, a local charity supporting Deaf and hard of hearing people, with funds raised from the event being split between the church and Action for Deafness.
Last year the event raised over £7,500 and this year they hope to beat that figure. Entry to this year’s Festival is just £4 for adults and FREE for children. Live music will be performed throughout the three days and refreshments will also be available.
Chris Wingrove, Operations Manager of Action for Deafness, said: ‘Action for Deafness is delighted to have been asked to be the charity partner for the Festival. Action for Deafness will have a tree, a stand, and our signing choir will be attending the carol service on Sunday 8th at 6pm. We do hope lots of people will come and see this great event.’
Opening times:
Friday 6th Dec 11:30 to 7:30pm
Saturday 7th Dec 11:30 to 6:30pm
Sunday 8th Dec 11:30 to 5:30pm
