CSC Security Consultants uses KeySIM IoT SIMs, Teltonika routers and fixed IP connectivity for critical security communications

News provided by Key IoT Limited on Thursday 3rd Sep 2026

CSC Security Consultants is using KeySIM IoT SIMs with Teltonika routers to deliver secure, resilient connectivity for CCTV and security installations across Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Based in the Republic of Ireland, CSC Security Consultants is a leading provider of fire and security solutions. Established in 2007, the company provides monitored CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, integrated security management, monitoring and maintenance.

CSC Security Consultants migrated to KeySIM in February 2023 and, as of July 2026, uses around 300 KeySIM IoT SIMs across its customer deployments.

Installed in Teltonika routers, the SIMs securely connect remote CCTV systems to CSC Security Consultants’ chosen alarm receiving centres. KeySIM is directly interconnected with these centres, enabling authorised operators to access the systems through private fixed IP connectivity without exposing the equipment to the public internet.

KeySIM can also provide controlled public fixed IP connectivity where an installation requires external access, giving CSC Security Consultants the flexibility to select the most appropriate configuration for each deployment.

Declan Cassin, Managing Director of CSC Security Consultants, said:

“CSC Security Consultants required a secure and flexible IoT SIM solution for CCTV and security installations. Having previously used an alternative provider, we migrated to KeySIM in February 2023 because of features including Network Steerer, secure VPN connectivity and the flexibility to provide either private or public fixed IP connectivity depending on the application. As of July 2026, we use around 300 KeySIM IoT SIMs across our customer deployments and have been delighted with the service throughout.”

KeySIM’s multi-network IoT SIMs can connect to Vodafone, Meteor and Three in the Republic of Ireland, and Vodafone, O2, EE and Three in the United Kingdom. Access to multiple networks through one IoT SIM helps maintain connectivity where mobile coverage and network availability vary.

Network Steering enables CSC Security Consultants to remotely direct a SIM to another available mobile network through the KeySIM management portal. This can restore connectivity during a local network issue without replacing the SIM or immediately sending an engineer to the site.

KeySIM founder Graham Robinson has extensive experience in critical security communications. Before establishing KeySIM, he was Finance Director of an alarm receiving centre and deployed more than 10,000 Teltonika telematics devices for lone-worker protection.

Graham Robinson, founder of KeySIM, said:

“My experience in alarm receiving centres and the deployment of more than 10,000 Teltonika devices showed me how vital secure, reliable connectivity is. KeySIM gives CSC Security Consultants multi-network resilience, remote network control and secure fixed IP access for its critical CCTV installations.”

CSC Security Consultants is licensed by Ireland’s Private Security Authority and operates across all 32 counties, serving customers in the commercial, retail, hospitality, healthcare, public, construction and industrial sectors.
