Free DEI workshop for creative businesses in Brighton, run by leading charity.
Creative Mentor Network, a charity dedicated to supporting socioeconomic diversity in the creative industry, is hosting a free workshop with Projects in their co-working spaces in the Lanes.
The session, Socioeconomic Diversity in Creative Industries: Who's Missing?, which will run from 11am-12pm on Wednesday 14th June, will cover information about the current state of socioeconomic diversity within the creative industries, along with giving businesses more information about the barriers that are currently preventing a key demographic from entering the industry.
This session will have interactive workshop elements to help attendees realise the changes your business could be making to make it more socioeconomically diverse.
This is not the first time Creative Mentor Network has worked with creatives in Brighton & Hove. They have run two mentoring programmes in partnership with Soho House at the Brighton Beach House location, supporting young creatives from the area. A third cohort of Soho Mentorship is due to begin later this year.
