Slovenia's second largest city, Maribor, is gearing up for its fifteenth Old Vine Festival on 4th October - 11th November. The event traditionally marks the beginning of the autumn harvest where feasts and celebrations fill the streets as the town comes alive with music, entertainment, and local viticulturists and chefs showcasing the best of their produce.

Maribor is famously home to the world's oldest grape vine, as verified by the Guinness Book of World Records, which has been growing fruit for over 400 years.
