Carole Nash pulls sponsorship of Prescott Bike Festival
Carole Nash have withdrawn their sponsorship of the Blood Bike’s annual fund raiser, the Prescott Bike Festival, this year being held on the 18th / 19th July.
CN have supported the Festival since its inception in 2011 and cites commercial reasons for their decision.
Festival Organiser, Gordon Downie, said, “It’s sad that CN have decided not to continue with their support. I understand commercial realities; however, the Festival goes beyond that. We’ve always enjoyed a good relationship with CN and it was distressing to receive notification of their decision by email and with just five months to the next event. The sums involved weren’t huge but extremely important to us, it leaves a large hole in our budget.”
Prescott Bike Festival has contributed over £215,000 to the Blood Bike charities since 2011 and is a popular event in the motorcycle calendar. The event is organised by the regional Blood Bike group, Severn Freewheelers.
