CABARET vs. CANCER’S ‘FIRE WALK WITH ME’ charity fire walk set to raise £3,000 for people affected by cancer

Registered charity, Cabaret vs. Cancer is holding a charity fire walk at Randal Cremer Primary School on Sunday March 15th 2020. Join drag queens, Mexican-style wrestlers and cabaret icons as they walk barefoot across burning coals to raise money for people affected by cancer.

The fire walk, organised by specialist company, Blaze, kicks off at 6pm. Spectators are welcome and will be entertained pre-walk by some of the cream of the London cabaret scene, including Des O’Connor, award winning fire saxophonist and more.

Best known for its amazing cabaret shows featuring top artists, and its themed charity auctions, this is Cabaret vs. Cancer’s first sponsored fire walk. All monies raised will go directly towards supporting those living with cancer, including the child bereavement team at St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney.

Director, Rose Thorne, explained why the charity is stepping off stage and into the flames: “We were looking for a challenge for 2020, that would give our supporters the opportunity to do something new. What’s better than to banish Winter, by walking into Spring with a real spring in your step”

There are still a few places left for anyone wishing to sign up. A £25 registration fee and a minimum sponsorship pledge of £125 are required if defying the laws of physics appeals.
