Budapest Welcomes Fourth Michelin Star Restaurant

After being open for just six months, Tanti Restaurant, in Buda is the latest Hungarian restaurant to receive a Michelin-star from the 34th Michelin Guide. The restaurant opened in 2014 and has quickly become an important focal point on Budapest's gastro map, with chef, Mr István Pesti, bringing beautiful design, fusion, and paired-back tastes to his food. Michelin Guide`s editor, Rebecca Burr praised its "great cooking and simple artistry" and said "This is a stylish modern restaurant and the kitchen delivers 'clean', fresh flavours and shows a real understanding of ingredients."

Tanti is Budapest`s fourth Michelin-starred restaurant joining Costes, Onyx and Borkonyha (WineKitchen). The winds of change have swept through Hungarian kitchens over the past few years, and even though Hungarians love traditional flavours, chefs are producing fresh creations and giving a modern twist to their food. New 5* Aria Hotel Budapest

MasterCard Balaton Sound – Electronic Music Festival 9-12 July 2015

Billed as the best beach party in Europe, MasterCard Balaton Sound turns Zamárdi, a small town on the southern shores of Lake Balaton into a massive party arena. Step into a Hollywood Film Set at the Korda FilmPark

Offering a new experience for film lovers, the Korda Filmpark is the first movie-themed visitor's center in Central-Eastern Europe, located 30 kilometers from Budapest, in Etyek. The Filmpark can be found amongst the stages and backlot sets of Korda Studios, where international feature films such as Hellboy 2: The Golden Army and Season of the Witch, and TV mega-productions The Borgias andWorld Without End have been filmed.
