News provided by Pressat Wire on Tuesday 7th Apr 2015

After being open for just six months, Tanti Restaurant, in Buda is the latest Hungarian restaurant to receive a Michelin-star from the 34th Michelin Guide. The restaurant opened in 2014 and has quickly become an important focal point on Budapest's gastro map, with chef, Mr István Pesti, bringing beautiful design, fusion, and paired-back tastes to his food. Michelin Guide`s editor, Rebecca Burr praised its "great cooking and simple artistry" and said "This is a stylish modern restaurant and the kitchen delivers 'clean', fresh flavours and shows a real understanding of ingredients."

Tanti is Budapest`s fourth Michelin-starred restaurant joining Costes, Onyx and Borkonyha (WineKitchen). The winds of change have swept through Hungarian kitchens over the past few years, and even though Hungarians love traditional flavours, chefs are producing fresh creations and giving a modern twist to their food. Budapest especially is becoming renowned for its food scene and gastronomy is now a big draw for visitors to the city. For more information visitwww.tanti.hu

New 5* Aria Hotel Budapest

The luxurious 5* Aria Hotel Budapest opened in March 2015, and is the first boutique hotel to open in Hungary as part of the Library Hotel Collection, a unique group of hotels that started in New York. The 52-room Aria Hotel in Budapest will have a similar concept to the Library Hotel, New York; however, instead of rooms dedicated to different book themes, the rooms are dedicated to different artists or composers.
