Bromley Mitsubishi dealership makes Carolyn’s day with £1,000 of vouchers

A LUCKY mum-of-two has won £1,000 of Marks & Spencer vouchers, thanks to her local Mitsubishi dealership in Bromley.

Carolyn Day, 53, of New Barn Lane, Westerham, Kent, scooped the prize after being entered into a competition for having her Mitsubishi Shogun serviced at the dealership in Upper Elmers End Road.

Ms Day, a lecturer at Bromley College, said: “I was driving when they rang to tell me so I pulled over and I couldn’t believe it. I remembered entering the prize draw but it’s that old cliché that I’ve never won anything in my life before. It was a really lovely surprise.”

The grandmother-of-one plans to share the vouchers with her two grown-up children and her four-year-old grandson.

Ms Day, who has owned Mitsubishis for the last 20 years, added: “It’s fantastic and I’m really pleased to win.”

The competition was open to anyone who had a service, MOT or any of a range of vehicle health checks at Bromley Mitsubishi.

Service Manager Craig Sutherland said: “We’re delighted Carolyn has won the vouchers and it was great to be able to ring her and give her the good news. The idea of the competition was to thank our customers and Carolyn couldn’t believe it when I told her she had won.”

Mitsubishi dealerships across the UK are now offering people another chance to win £1,000 of M&S vouchers. Anyone who has a service, MOT or any of a range of vehicle health checks between now and 30^thSeptember 2014 will be entered into the fantastic national draw.
