ANIMAL PROTECTION SERVICES LAUNCHES COMMUNITY ALERTS SERVICE

News provided by Animal Protection Services on Monday 31st Aug 2020

Animal Protection Services has launched an electronic Community Alerts service.

The animal welfare charity is inviting members of the public to receive updates from the charity including witness appeals, prosecution updates, and occasional opportunities for you to become involved in our work.

Members will also benefit from a direct link with the Investigations Team to facilitate two-way communication.

A spokesperson for Animal Protection Services said: “We want to invite members of the public to become involved with our work. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, we are unable to have a mass volunteer network."

"Instead, as an alternative, we can let you know that we need your help by sending you an email with a witness appeal. It is free and simple to sign up", they added.

You can sign up through the Animal Protection Service’s website at https://animalprotectionservices.co.uk/community-alerts
