Active IQ held their Active Leisure Awards ceremony on 21 November at the Crown Plasza Marlow; the evening was hosted by ukactive CEO and Active Leisure Awards judge, David Stalker. The black-tie event was extremely well attended by the active leisure industry with some great work within the industry being recognised.
ICON TRAINING were delighted to win ‘Training Provider of the Year’ against some very tough competition. The market leading training provider were genuinely thrilled to receive such a prestigious award, recognising the excellent quality of training, hard work and dedication to the active leisure sector.
Chief Executive, Julian Leybourne said “In 1995 ICON TRAINING set a course to be the best training provider in the sector and has worked hard to reach this goal. We are not the biggest but along with our Ofsted grade 1 status, arguably we are the best and many leading employers have made the decision to work with us against stiff competition, and have told us that we stood out because we looked beyond offering ‘FREE’ training and that we focused on their business needs with a strategic and joined-up approach that was as refreshing as it was innovative.
We are absolutely delighted to receive this recognition from the industry and plan to continue forward in our quest for excellence”.
