An Introduction to Our Partners
This year's Science + Football Conference takes place at the FA's National Football Centre, St George's Park. Comprising of presentations, Q+A sessions and workshops, the content focuses upon the key aspects of player and coach development within the professional game. These aspects include coaching, sports science, sports medicine and performance analysis.
We are delighted to be working closely with the following partners for this year's event.
Perform Spire Healthcare
Perform is the Official Healthcare Partner of St. George's Park, operating a 25,000 square-foot sports medicine centre offering the innovative technologies, elite expertise, sports medicine and science to improve performance in football. The facilities include a Human Performance Laboratory, Hydrotherapy Suite, Strength & Conditioning Gym, Rehabilitation Gym, 60-metre indoor sprint track, outdoor training hill and track, consultation and treatment rooms, physiotherapy suite and minor procedures theatre.
Perform's hand-picked interdisciplinary team includes sports and exercise medicine (SEM) physicians, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, podiatrists, nutritionists and allied health practitioners. The elite clinical team has major experience in sport including Elite Physiotherapist Steve Kemp (who led the England Senior team's physiotherapy support after Gary Kemp was injured at the Italy game) and Dr Charlotte Cowie (former Team GB, Tottenham and Fulham doctor).
Football Medical Association
The FMA has always been committed to building the network of medical and science personnel in professional football and in doing so we already have the vast majority of doctors, physiotherapists and sports therapists as members.
In focusing further on the sports science community we are now officially partnering with the Science & Football brand to give us a respected science base within the association. Working in partnership will see the FMA supporting the Science and Football Conference in April and including the Science and Football brand as part of our magazine. This partnership should give a clear indication to sports scientists of the important role they play within then FMA structure alongside colleagues within the game.

You don't need to go overseas, no need to put your team in a coach; we'll come to you and bring not only the latest in mobile sports therapy, but also the peace of mind that you get from working with the UK's number one expert in handling Cryogenic gases.
