A UK ESTATE AGENT CURRENTLY BRINGING JOY TO PEOPLE’S LIVES - SHAME HE’S FICTIONAL…
Will Eric change history? Or will history change Eric?
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: THE TIME-TRAVELLING ESTATE AGENT 2
United Kingdom – According to online property experts Sell House Fast, estate agents are the third most complained about profession in the UK – and the recent BBC Panorama episode ‘Undercover Estate Agent’ gave some indications why – but Eric Meek is bucking this trend by making friends with almost everyone he encounters.
Eric is the star of The Time-Travelling Estate Agent series, written by former journalist Dale Bradford. The first novel was published in November 2024, and it has been a consistent seller since its release, never leaving the top 30 of Amazon’s Bestselling Time Travel Books chart.
The sequel – The Time-Travelling Estate Agent 2 – is now available and this too can currently be found jostling for position in the same genre chart as its predecessor. Customer reviews of both books have been favourable, with 84% of the first book’s readers, and 100% of the second book’s readers, awarding it either four or five stars.
“The Time-Travelling Estate Agent has certainly found an audience,” said Bradford, “and I’ve been delighted to read so many positive reviews. Eric has proven to be a very popular character and following the BBC Panorama broadcast, and the earlier Sell House Fast study, he might even be helping to improve the public’s view of the profession.”
Premise
When Eric is invited by an elderly lady to value her property, he discovers that the garage contains a hole in space-time that has been developed into a traversable portal. A by-product of her husband’s attempts to emulate the work of pioneering electrical engineer Nikola Tesla, the portal allows movement between now and the day it was first powered up, 3rd July 1976: the best – and worst – day of 16-year-old Eric’s life. Presented with a chance to right the wrongs of the past, Eric revisits the moment he believes defined his future. Will Eric change history? Or will history change Eric?
The series is a blend of sci-fi, murder mystery, and mismatched romcom, with nods to Groundhog Day and 50 First Dates. It is set in and around Cwmbran, South Wales, where Bradford grew up. The final part of the trilogy will be published in early 2026.
Availability
The Time-Travelling Estate Agent, and its sequel, are available now in ebook (£1.99), paperback (£9.99), and hardback (£14.99) and both are free to read on Kindle Unlimited.
