Young Social Reformers (Headquarters Karachi) organized the 14th 'I Own Pakistan' Conference with the vision of investing in Pakistani youth, empowering the young generation, and inspiring youth with values, morals, compassion, and patriotism in collaboration with the Sports & Youth Affairs Department Government of Sindh, at Regent Plaza, Karachi.

A gateway to opportunities for active and enthusiastic young activists from around the world who are committed to improving the prosperity of the world and its people, YSR "Karachi Headquarters" hosted an event where representatives, youth activists, government dignitaries, community leaders, and more than 150 YSR members from all over the nation participated.

Founder & Chairman Mr. Fahad Rizvi in his address said that “As long as I am breathing, I will continue to work for the cause of empowering young people to become "The Leaders of Tomorrow," and we will gather every December 30th in Karachi as well as other Pakistani provinces and cities, Insha'Allah”.

Special guest Mr. Akhtar Inayat Bhurgri, Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh, commended YSR's efforts and the initiative's goal of uniting young individuals from various Pakistani cities and provinces, which YSR pledged to accomplish at "The First Balochistan Sindh Youth Convention" and actually accomplished. Mr. Akhtar Inayat Bhurgri Said,  “I’m delighted to see my youth gathered here yet again for the 14th ‘I Own Pakistan’ Conference” and pledged his support going forward for all youth development initiatives.

Governor of Sindh-Chief Guest and Mr. Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, stated, "I want our young people, who are the tomorrow's leaders, to have this level of passion. I'm overjoyed to see youth delegations in front of me who have come great distances to attend this conference from their cities, regions, and homes. Furthermore, acknowledged each and every YSR member for their tireless efforts and valuable contributions.

The Special Guests Mr. Sadiqullah Khan, Director of Pakistan’s Custom Academy Karachi, Ms. Shazia Sobia Aslam Soomro, MNA, & parliamentary Secretary Health, Government of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Rehan Hashmi Ex MNA & Ex-Chairman DMC Central, and Prof. Dr. Khalida Ghous Ex-Chairperson Department of International Relations-University Of Karachi served by invigorating the conference participants with their insightful discussions. All of them shared the very same mission: to encourage, motivate, and empower youth for a sustainable future and own Pakistan.

Mr. Zubair Ahmed Ansari, President of Young Social Reformers Pakistan, and Mr. Syed Faizan Hussain, President of Young Social Reformers Sports Foundation, contributed significantly to the event's management, organization, and participant’s accommodations and received a token of appreciation in recognition of their valuable contributions and tireless day and night efforts.

In order to help the participants settle down after a long day of exhaustion and to give them some time to enjoy themselves and interact with their fellow participants, Young Social Reformers organized an entertaining Qawwali session and a wonderful Dinner with the support of the Sports & Youth Affairs Department Government of Sindh.

Young social reformers have been identifying and serving the needs of young people since 2000 with the continuous commitment of twenty years, through youth development projects and programs and informal yet essential educational activities that support their lifetime learning.
