£10 Million Cash Boost For Godmanchester Thanks To Homebuilders

More than £10 million is being invested into the community in Godmanchester, thanks to leading developers Barratt and David Wilson Homes.

The funding, which totals over £10 million, comes as part of the planning agreement for the homebuilders' new Romans' Edge development, off Bearscroft Lane, and will benefit both new and established residents through improved services and facilities.

David Wilson Homes' Romans' Edge development will offer a range of stylish two, three, four and five-bedroom homes set in the historic Cambridgeshire town of Godmanchester.

Barratt Homes' neighbouring development will feature a range of 3 and 4 bed homes, ideal for first-time buyers and growing families.

Godmanchester has a village feel to it, with a welcoming community, social club and lots of greenery. A doctors' surgery, dentist and post office close to the development offer convenience, and there are an array of schools catering for all ages.

Plus, good transport links via the A14, M11 and A1, as well as Huntingdon Railway Station make the development a good choice for commuters.
