1 in 5 UK Employees are gambling on their smartphone at work

The crew of Topmobilecasino.co.uk has conducted a survey on 2,000 and found out significant results. The findings include:

Approximately 55 percent of gamblers play casino games on their smartphones*

out of 4 Brits are participating in gambling activities on their mobile phone*

6 per cent of mobile gamblers are male*

1 out of 5 employees are now gambling during working hours on their mobile phone*

30 per cent of gamblers access mobile gambling sites every day*

Smartphones and tablets have transformed the way in which we gamble. No longer do people need to be in front of their PC or visit a betting shop or casino to get their fix. Given the dynamic technology developments and the dramatic shift toward mobile use in the past five years, it's safe to say that the mobile gambling market will grow at a faster pace than ever in the coming years.

According to the latest Global Online Gambling & Betting Market report, mobile gambling is expected to grow exponentially and to reach over 40 per cent of the total online gambling market by 2018. A huge 2.2m people in the UK now access gambling sites on smartphones only according to comScore senior account manager Colin Burrows.
