Channel 4 stays ahead with responsive design

Channel 4 has today unveiled that they will be the first broadcaster to pioneer a responsive news design to provide an accessible viewing experience on a range of digital devices.

The responsive design will allow viewers to catch up with the latest news, analysis and commentary on a wider choice of devices such as smartphones, tablets, netbooks and small screen laptops.

An array of new features will be implemented to increase the live streaming of news, combining video, text and social aspects.

The design was carried out by Brighton based user experience specialists ClearLeft, who has an impressive client list from Gumtree to Firefox.
