Press to date: Brighton-based 5-piece alternative rock band 'Trim Tab Jim' debuted their political rock opera at the Brighton Festival in May 2015, to widespread critical acclaim:

Synopsis: An unnamed protagonist is brutally mugged and left for dead in the street. While his fate is being 'processed', he meets the Angel of Death, who helps him reflect on his life to date. Accepting that his legacy leaves a little to be desired, he takes it upon himself to sing for his reincarnation. Can he persuade the Angel to allow him one more chance at life? And what will be the price of readmission?

Target audience: Music critics, theatre critics, theatre producers, record companies, political journalists, rock music fans (especially Leonard Cohen, Pink Floyd, The Who, David Bowie, The Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, The Who, John Lennon, Nick Cave), the wider general public (age 14-65+)

Background to the London Premiere: Having seen the show at the Brighton Fringe, Caroline Instance - a Trustee of London based charity ShareAction - arranged for the as-yet unsigned Trim Tab Jim to bring the show to Union Chapel in Islington - a stunning venue in the heart of Jeremy Corbyn's constituency.

Manifesto: To explain the politics behind the Trim Tab Trilogy, throughout January the band are releasing a 'Manifesto for an Earthian Emancipation' - an ambitious programme for the reshaping of human destiny, inspired by the writings of R. Buckminster Fuller.
