The Conservation Foundation's 2016 Yew Seminar
Britain's long and fascinating yew heritage is the subject of The Conservation Foundation's 2016 Yew Seminar on Saturday 6 February (10.30am – 3.30pm) at St John's Church, Waterloo, London.
The seminar is part of the Foundation's We Love Yew project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund and brings together a range of experts in the management, research and history of Britain's yew trees.
Aimed at arboricultural practitioners, tree officers and others with an interest in the importance of Britain's yew tree heritage, the seminar is free and open to all, but booking is essential.
Local authority tree officers and arboretum managers will be attending from all over the UK and delegates also include Jerzy Stolarczyk, who is involved in managing Poland's oldest yew tree.
