Young & Co.’s Brewery P.L.C. Donates Outdated Laptops to SocialBox.Biz’s “Laptops for the Homeless Initiative”

Wednesday 4 March, 2020

London, UK, March 4, 2020: SocialBox.Biz, a London-based community interest venture and technology hub that takes unneeded but still useful laptops and other items for future use by those in accommodation services, this week excitedly announced they have formed another partnership with local Young & Co.’s Brewery P.L.C.

Young’s decided to donate their old laptops to the “Laptops for the Homeless” initiative, which will benefit homeless people, elderly, and refugees in London and beyond.

“We absolutely love what SocialBox.Biz is doing for our community, by helping the disenfranchised to actually apply for jobs, connect with relatives, and get back on their feet,” said a spokesman from Young’s. “We want to be part of the conversation and help homeless people find some stability in their lives.”

SocialBox.Biz is working to hit their 1000th laptop handover milestone this April, having worked towards the goal for years now. As part of the ceremony, they have invited notable personnel to witness the event that is helping so many thousands of people get their lives back.

SocialBox.Biz work hard to partner with as many public and private companies as possible, sourcing technologies that are no longer needed and working with accommodation partners to ensure they are put to good use.

‘We are constantly looking for companies like Young’s that believe in advancing our initiative while helping people across our country,” said Peter Paduh, Founder of SocialBox.Biz. “We thank them for their generous donation, and look forward to future collaborations with them.”
