World Sumo Champions to compete head-to-head at Mall of America®

Three World Sumo Champions, weighing a combined 1,400 pounds, will travel from Japan and Mongolia to Mall of America® to compete head-to-head and meet fans in a special sumo event.

This is the first time ever that sumo legends of this caliber will do an event like this in Minnesota. Exhibitions including demonstrations, rules, rituals, training and real sumo matches will take place all afternoon.

The three sumo wrestlers have won a combined seven World Sumo Championships. The lineup includes:
