Gerrards Cross Community Association (GXCA) has announced the return of its highly anticipated Summer School, taking place from 28th July to 8th August 2025 at The Memorial Centre, East Common, Gerrards Cross. This year’s event promises an enriching opportunity for adults looking to enhance their personal skills and knowledge in a relaxed yet engaging setting.


“GXCA Summer School is now in its 41st year, is thought to the largest charity-run summer school in Buckinghamshire. Each year we host over 700 adult learners all keen to master new skills& knowledge from our expert and engaging tutors, “said Professor Marcia Bell, chair of the board of Trustees of GXCA.


“Whether you're looking to explore a new hobby, upgrade your knowledge, or engage with like-minded individuals, we’ve sessions for everyone. Courses are accessible to all levels, making it a fantastic opportunity for lifelong learners of all backgrounds.”


With 60 sessions taking place over two weeks, the Summer School is designed to cater to diverse interests and offers a wide range of one-day courses and workshops, from arts and crafts to digital literacy and history. With specialist lectures and a supportive learning environment, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in subjects that foster growth, creativity, and self-confidence.
