The National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS) has announced that, effective April 2012, STA is its new and preferred debt collection agency. NMBS is a centralised buying society for Independent Builders, Timber and Hardware, Plumbing and Heating Merchants with over 650 members with more than 2000 branches and over £500 million buying power.
The primary aim of NMBS is to enable its members to get the best possible deal from suppliers by offering them a very cost effective route to the Independent market place. Now, NMBS members will have access to STAs commercial debt collection services at centrally negotiated and discounted rates of commission.
STAs Business Development Manager Karl Hague explains: We had some pre-existing relationships with Builders Merchants and saw it as a natural extension to this to approach the NMBS about our services. We are delighted to be appointed and look forward to providing their members with a first-class collections service that can contribute to their cash flow and business success.
