Professor Narender Ramnani from the Department of Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London has been elected as a Fellow of the Society of Biology, for his prominent contribution to the advancement of Biological Science.
Professor Ramnani received the accolade in recognition of his pioneering research on understanding the neural basis of learning and cognition in the human brain.
The Society of Biology works to represent the life sciences by advising Government, advancing education and professional development and encouraging public interest in biology.
Professor Ramnani, said: "I am delighted to have received this award. It is really a reflection of the fact that I've had the good fortune to work with some very talented students, postdoctoral scientists and colleagues, and have been supported by an outstanding department."
