The Nomads (‘drama on your doorstep’) have teamed up with Brooklands Radio (the station that is ‘Loving Surrey’) to present… Surrey Showcase

Give me more details… A one-day performing arts event packed with local talent, presented by Brooklands Radio and The Nomad Theatre Group, hosted by The Nomads in East Horsley, Leatherhead, Surrey - on Saturday 18th August 2018.


The brainchild of Annabelle Lawrence (Marketing & Publicity Lead, The Nomads) and James ‘JP’ Pearce (Presenter, Brooklands Radio), Surrey Showcase was created to give performers across Surrey the opportunity to showcase their talent in a professionally designed theatre space.

Call To Action: We're looking for performers in any arts discipline - drama, music, dance, comedy, spoken word... perhaps even circus skills or choirs!

During the day, Brooklands Radio will broadcast live from the theatre venue. There will be interviews, live performances and recordings which will also be shared after the event. There will be places to eat and drink, socialise and relax, as well as backstage tours to find out more about what The Nomad Theatre has to offer. We’re also working with local businesses to partner on refreshments, parking facilities, places to stay and transport - it’s a community effort! Tickets will be on sale in late May 2018.
