Preston-based media agency, 2am, mark their 10th anniversary under managing director Peter Stubbs by launching their competition, 10for10. The competition invites businesses of any size to submit their new or existing concept with a £10 donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign for the chance to win £10,000 worth of marketing services.
The prize will allow 2am to create a bespoke solution for the winning business, without restricting their possibilities. The £10,000 includes £8,000 worth of design, build, copywriting and research time, which could be utilised for creating a website if required, £1,000 worth of photography provided by world-renowned photographer Sean Conboy, and print materials to the value of £1,000 provided by Hesketh Press.
This competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of 2am and their immediate families. Entries are not restricted to business size or establishment, welcoming new business concepts and established brands alike.
The first stage is the online entry. Entrants should submit a brief description of their idea, along with their £10 donation to http://www.2ammedia.co.uk/10for10. The competition opens on Wednesday 10th April 2013. All relevant fields of the entry form must be completed and submitted by midnight on Friday 10th May 2013. We will then select 10 applicants at random to attend our pitching workshop, after which a final decision will be made.
The entry fee proceeds will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, the leading UK charity dedicated to research, cure and prevention of muscle-wasting conditions and a charity close to Pete's heart. Peter has elected for 2am to raise awareness of this charity as part of his ongoing personal support to his brother who is affected by the condition.
