'Delicious Devon' tea towels and aprons, the first products in the new Coast and County range launch this week. The hand drawn design in stunning coastal blue features a range of delicious foods and drink associated particularly with a holiday 'wish list' for Devon.
Fantastic as a souvenir, gift or trendy addition to your own kitchen, the tea towels (rrp £9.99) and aprons (rrp £19.99) are both released this month. More products in this range will follow in early 2015. With quality at the heart of Coast and County's production values, the textiles are designed and made in England, from 100% unbleached cotton. The apron has an adjustable neck strap, so one size fits all, and if you think the tea towel is too good to use, it has a novel sewn in seam so it can be hung up and displayed on your wall.
For the 'Delicious Devon' collection, the team commissioned Peter Gander to create this exclusive artwork using beautiful hand lettering and illustrative design using ink with dip pen and brush.
Delicious Devon tea towels and aprons are currently available nationwide from The Shops at Dartington's new online shop (www.shopsatdartington.co.uk) and other local Devon stockists.
The company behind the unique Coast and County range is Proctor & Clark, a family-run business best summed up by their strapline, 'Great British ideas for giving and living'.
Co-founder of the South Devon creative firm Proctor & Clark, Donald Clark is excited about the company's new venture: "We have spent a lot of time and effort building a portfolio of designs which we feel really proud of," he says. "Each design shows off what people love most about the West Country and feature its characteristic beauty and specialities."
